Alex Bright
Technology Specialist
For the last seven years as a member of the WorldStage Integration Department, Alex has programmed media servers and show control systems for corporate events of all shapes and sizes. His programming experience has ranged from one-day single screen presentations in hotel ballrooms to large-scale 360°projection events for corporate clients taking place over multiple weeks. He has programmed and installed WorldStage projects
for Adobe, Hyundai, Verizon, and UNICEF . For the past six years he has programed for a variety of broadcast network’s upfront presentations in New York City including Google’s YouTube Brandcast, and Turner Networks.
Alex has supervised the installation of media server video systems for numerous theatrical productions. Broadway credits include: Wicked (Broadway and National Tours), Alan Cumming’s MacBeth, First Date, Lombardi (Broadway and National Tours), Elf, Newsies, The Best Man, Frankie Valli Live, and Anna Deavere Smith’s Let Me Down Easy (National Tour). Off-Broadway includes work with Blue Man Group (NYC, Boston, Chicago). Alex has also supervised the installation of media server systems in numerous regional theaters throughout the country. In addition to his theatrical experience, Alex has programmed and installed media servers and show control solutions for WorldStage including disguise, Watchout, Pandoras Box, Catalyst, Medialon, Hippotizer, Widget Designer, and Qlab.
Alex is a graduate of University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where he earned a BFA in design and production, with a focus in lighting design.
